Marcus Rashford gets busy! Want-away Man Utd forward follows Barcelona & Lamine Yamal on Instagram with talks underway for Spanish champions to complete signing

A summer exit is on the cards for Rashford, who seems destined to depart Manchester United this summer. He has been heavily linked with a move to Barcelona this summer, and his actions on Instagram might just have given more wind to the speculation. Indeed, the England international started following Barcelona and Yamal on Instagram.

  The Catalans are aiming to bolster their attack after a phenomenal first season under Hansi Flick, during which they pipped rivals Real Madrid to the La Liga title, Copa del Rey, and Spanish Super Cup to complete a domestic treble. Several names have been linked with a move to Barcelona, in particular Liverpool left winger Luis Diaz, who is reportedly sporting director Deco’s top candidate.

  However, Rashford now seems to be the player that will eventually end up in Catalunya this summer. Talks have already begun between the player’s camp and the club, and the Englishman loves the idea of a switch to La Liga. But United will demand a £40 million (€48m) fee to let him go this summer.

    While Aston Villa are believed to be keen on signing Rashford after his impressive half-season loan spell, it is unlikely that they will be capable of pulling the trigger on the star forward’s £40m asking price. Late on Wednesday evening, transfer expert Fabrizio Romano provided more details about Rashford’s potential move to Barca, stating that he was keen on joining the Blaugrana in January. After the latest round of talks, there is optimism on the player’s side as club-to-club negotiations still remain in the initial stages.
