The pop star posted a short Instagram video teasing a new project
Sabrina Carpenter is heating up her look for summer.
On June 2, the Grammy winner posted a teaser video on Instagram and it’s leaving fans in a frenzy over what’s to come. The top guess? A music video for “Busy Woman,” which is off her Short n’ Sweet (Deluxe) album or new music altogether.
The short clip shows Carpenter, 26, hitchhiking on the side of a dirt road and with limited instrumental aside from the pop star hitting us with a “Oh boy” at the end — but that’s not the only cheeky thing about the teaser.
Carpenter is ‘fitted up in a pair of high-cut Daisy Dukes bottoms that definitely put the “booty” in “booty shorts.” She also wears a cropped pink button-up top and sling-back pumps topped with, of course, her signature blonde curls.
Some of the comments ranged from “suns out, buns out” to “queen is back” so it’s safe to say, Carpenter is making fans sweat.

Carpenter debuted Short n’ Sweet, last August and released an extended version on Feb. 14. She took her sixth studio record on tour last fall, performing hits like “Please Please Please” and “Espresso” in one bedazzled Victoria’s Secret look after another (for her opening night on Sept. 23, she wore a corset bodysuit boasting over 150,000 crystals).
Even when the circuit concluded, she continued to strut her stuff on the red carpet in the retro-inspired aesthetic she brought with her latest album.
In February, she wowed the 2025 Grammys in not one, but two showstopping looks, including the blue Jonathan Anderson gown and whopping 50-carat Chopard diamond she wore on the carpet and the gold Versace dress she slipped into inside the show.

Most recently, she returned to the Met Gala to celebrate the “Superfine: Tailoring Black Style” theme. She collaborated with Pharrell Williams, Louis Vuitton’s men’s creative director and co-chair of the evening, on a pantless tuxedo bodysuit that was made for her petite frame (at the suggestion of its designer).
“He was like, ‘You’re quite short so no pants for you.’ So here we are. Here we are,” she told Vogue on the inspiration behind her look.
Despite the ensemble actually being custom-made for her stature, Carpenter ended up addressing criticism about the clothes not fitting her “body type.” But in good humor, she laughed off the disapproval, jokingly writing in a response on X, “damn I f—– up.”
