Tom Brady Reflects on ‘Amazing’ Japan Trip with Kids and How It Helped ‘Shape’ Them

Tom Brady and his younger children are continuing to enjoy summer break!

The retired NFL player, 47, traveled to Japan with his son Benjamin Rein, 15, and his daughter Vivian Lake, 12, and shared a glimpse of their adventures in an Instagram post on Monday, June 16.

He kicked off the carousel with a photo of Vivian, showing off her new Labubu doll alongside her smiling dad — who had his connected to his belt loop. Brady shares Vivian and Benjamin with ex-wife Gisele Bündchen. He also shares son John “Jack” Edward Thomas, 17, with his ex-girlfriend, Bridget Moynahan.

The former pro quarterback added photos of the family embracing Japanese culture, from watching a sumo wrestling match — which included Benjamin posing with the wrestlers — and Brady holding a samurai sword.

The seven-time Super Bowl champion added adorable photos alongside both of his children. He included a snap of the three in matching traditional Japanese garb, as well as a photo of them posing in front of the Buddhist temple, Kinkaku-ji, in Kyoto.

Brady added a couple of photos of the landmarks themselves, with a foggy image of the Tokyo Skytree.

The proud father also included a few snapshots of his children enjoying traditional Japanese cuisine.

Brady shared in the caption how their family had a blast on their trip. “Japan we love you! We had SO MUCH FUN! Thank you for your hospitality and beauty!”

“What an amazing culture of honor, respect, and discipline,” he continued. “From the history, to the traditions, every day we learned and laughed and loved – the food, the shops, the people, the animals and everything in between!”

“These trips shape us and remind us how much there is to learn when we step outside our routines and see the world together,” he wrote before concluding, “Arigato gozaimasu! またお会いしましょう 🇯🇵❤️.”

Their trip to Japan follows the family’s vacation to Germany and the Netherlands in early June.

“A quick stop in 🇩🇪 then kicking off summer break in 🇳🇱Making memories that will last forever while experiencing these different cultures and LEARNING while we’re at it!” Brady wrote his caption. “Keep an eye out for my graffiti across Europe the res together way 😉.”

In one photo, the family posed in a soccer stadium as Benjamin rocked a Paris Saint-Germain F.C. jersey. Vivian stood on her dad’s other side, wearing a white sweatshirt.

Brady and Benjamin also posed in front of a river and a boat floating down the canal in Amsterdam. Vivian and her brother are later pictured at the Anne Frank House in the Dutch city, as well as posing with their dad in a spray-painted area.

Months before their summer break, Brady treated all three of his children to a trip to the mountains. In late March, the NFL veteran shared a carousel of photos on Instagram as he enjoyed a ski vacation with his three kids. The family of four could be seen racing down the slopes together and posing on a hill as they enjoyed the scenery.

Brady also included one video of himself and his daughter showing off a handshake they’d created, ending with them making a heart with their hands.
