‘Point Blank’ features Dylan’s art from 2021 to 2022. The audiobook is the first unabridged recording of the Nobel Prize-winning ‘Chronicles: Volume One’

Bob Dylan is sharing his art with the world.
The legendary singer, 84, has a new book on the way — Point Blank, a collection of recent artwork featuring a range of portraits, still lifes and landscapes, according to a press release from Simon & Schuster. Dylan, whose influence on the folk genre and use of underlying political themes revolutionized the music industry, first began creating visual art in the 1960s but only publicly started sharing his work in 2007.
The art collection includes about 100 of Dylan’s pieces, created between 2021 and 2022, including “roller-skating lovers, a suit of armor, a suspension bridge, a karaoke singer, a roll of Scotch tape, a Parisian canal [and] a man with a crooked smile.”

“This book showcases Bob Dylan’s mastery of telling stories, creating moods and provoking feelings,” said S&S Vice President and Publisher Sean Manning. “The images are deeply evocative, at once innocent and world-weary, joyous and forlorn, humorous and sensual, enigmatic and familiar.”
