The former New England Patriots quarterback also shares daughter Vivian, 12, with Bündchen, and is also dad to 17-year-old son Jack, who he shares with ex Bridget Moynahan.

During a Tuesday, May 6, appearance on Logan Paul’s Impaulsive podcast, the seven-time Super Bowl champ revealed that he still had some “regret[s]” about participating in Netflix’s The Greatest Roast of All Time: Tom Brady in May 2024, given how the special impacted his kids.
“It was tough on my kids for sure,” Brady said of the roast, which featured Kevin Hart, Nikki Glaser, Kim Kardashian and more poking fun at the quarterback.
“There’s some things as a parent you f— up, and you don’t realize until after. We’re not perfect parents. You’ll see as you grow up, there’s no perfect manual for it,” Brady said, he enjoyed the roast itself and “[doesn’t] take [himself] too serious.”
“When you were in that moment, in that theater that night at the Forum, it was electric. It was crazy,” he continued.
“We got done, everybody was on Cloud 9. I think that moment I’ll never forget,” Brady said. “And then I’ll never forget when I talked to my kids the next day. I felt like a stake through the heart, understandably.”
As Brady explained, his kids are “protective of their mom, of their dad, of everybody.” During the roast itself, participating comics made jokes about Brady and Bündchen’s divorce. The former couple divorced in October 2022 after 13 years of marriage.
The football star later said on Impaulsive that “getting toughened up is a good thing” since it helps you gain “empathy” and proves you can overcome things, although he admitted it was tough to see his kids struggle. “I gained a lot of self-confidence and self-esteem dealing with adversities and overcoming them,” he said. “[But] you don’t want to see your kids hurt because you can’t do anything about it.”
Brady added: “For me, as a parent, you’ve got to be available, and you’ve got to be present. That’s when the parenting happens. Not in the big moments. A lot of times it’s the small moments.”
